Naso-sinus malignancies (TuNS) are rare cancers with a high occupational aetiological fraction: in fact, while the incidence in the general population is low, a significant proportion of cases occur in workers exposed to specific causative agents. Based on the available evidence, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has evaluated some agents or circumstances of exposure with definite or limited evidence of carcinogenicity to humans (groups 1 and 2A) for the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses.
